REYKJAVIK, ICELAND, March 5th, 2003 - Crowd Control Productions (CCP), developer of the highly anticipated massive multiplayer online game (MMOG) "Eve Online: The Second Genesis" announced today this PC game will ship May 6, 2003 in North America and Europe. EVE ONLINE will allow more than 100,000 gamers to play in a single universe that will not be broken into "shards." No other MMOG has attained this many simultaneous users.
